About me
Hi, my name is John Taylor. I’m from the lake district in the North West of England. Thank you for looking at my website which I am just trying to build and going through a major learning curve with it. This site will tell the story of my background, which is 28 years of working in Antarctica, some stints in Africa, including the sahara desert and Angola, Borneo and also places like Tristan Da Cuhna too. Also I will tell you about a dream coming true, the building of ‘Ocean Swift’ my 44ft, lightweight composite catamaran that I built with my father. And also some of the Ocean Swift adventures including two Atlantic crossings. Read my full story here.
